Dear Student,
Welcome to the Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS). This department is part of the Faculty of Science. It is housed in the Science building that includes two specific computer laboratories for the CIS majors, and electronically equipped classrooms.
We pride ourselves in being a student-centered university; where excellence is measured by student success. You will find faculty across the department who combine research and excellent teaching, and you will also find friendly and capable teaching and non-teaching staff.
The faculty has a strong commitment to prepare students for careers in Computer Information Systems related fields. They bring a “real world” knowledge and expertise into the classroom to actively engage students in the process of teaching and learning. In addition to our regular faculty, visiting professors and scholars are frequent guests to the campus, presenting workshops that enhance the educational opportunities for our students.
Make sure you have the Bethlehem University Student Information Booklet and the Guide to the CIS department. Both will guide you through out your study at Bethlehem University.
